Dr. Elkins is one of the most thorough primary care physicians I have met both as a patient and as a physician. My husband and I are profoundly pleased with his care, as well as with his outstanding office staff.
After going a couple times for OMT for my back pain I felt significantly better and pain free. I have a strenuous job which causes my body to have lots of aches and pains. I see Dr Elkins when a area of my back or shoulder flares up and I always improve and feel better after the OMT. I used to go to a chiropractor to get adjusted but their technique is very abrupt and and sometimes left me sore. Dr Elkins does gentle movements that accomplish alignment without the soreness after.
I had given him 5 stars 2 months ago. But, I don't know why he has gone downhill. He seems cranky. His office is being run poorly now. He does not fill prescriptions when requested so you have to go without. Even OMT has not been working.
My recent visit with Dr. Elkins was great. Dr. Elkins has been my doctor for a number of years . His staff is very caring and professional and the wait time wasn't long at all. The exam room was very clean and Dr. Elkins answered all of my questions in terms I could easily understand. I have recommended friends Dr. Elkins.
