Takes time to make you feel listened to. Also will not speak over your head.
Dr. Illum listens to her patients and really takes the time to explain her process and unlike a lot of cardiologists, she makes you feel heard.
Have been treated by Dr. Illum since March of 2018. She has helped me through the installation of 2 stents, a pacemaker, a minor heart attack, and tachycardia. She and her staff are the most caring and concerned physicians I have encountered in my 72 years. They carefully explain all facets of your health status, options, and procedures; select Dr. Illum with complete confidence!
Dr. Illum has an excellent bedside manner. She listens attentively to her patients.
Quite frankly she is the best doctor I have ever been to. She genuinely cares and goes out of her way to ensure my comfort.
Dr. Illum is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to fully understand all of your symptoms. You will leave with a solid game plan and a peace of mind that you had all of your concerns addressed. Highly recommended.
I think that Dr. Illum is one of the finest doctors whom I have ever known. I often joke with her that it seems to me that she cares more about my health than I do. She is a a treasure, and I recommend her as a heart doctor for anyone who needs to see a cardiologist.
