I’ve had two separate appointments with Dr. Mendenhall, each with a different one of my children, and left both visits feeling genuinely upset. Her communication style comes across as arrogant and condescending, both toward me and toward my kids. Worst doctor ever. Went in there because I got a really bad concussion ice skating. Went in for vertigo ( so severe I couldn’t even go to school for months) symptoms actually persisted for 6 years lucky got way less debilitating over time . She told me I was lying and was sitting up too fast, AND THATS WHY I WAS FEELING DIZZY. ( I have a video of how hard I hit my head on ice) Referred me to a neurologist, BECAUSE OF HEAD ACHES. I used Dr. Mendenhall for all 3 of my kids. They were quite a spread, so I have been there 25 years. My last is about to go to college and so I went for my last visit. I didn't think this would be an emotional thing - but it was! My kids were not sick much so I mostly saw her during the annual well visits. She always listened to my concerns (food, vaccines, vitamins) and then would give a balanced response. She respects the parent/child relationship and also has a great head on her shoulder.
