This is truly crazy. Imagine a doctor that holds a grudge? Found out this doc deals with eyes but also does cosmetic procedure. I had been to her as an eye doc and, although not happy with the appointment itself (wait time etc.) I had not problem with Dr. & thought she might appreciate feedback (as professionals should). 1.5 years later I called about the cosmetic procedure. This Dr has you in her 'store' looking at stuff she's trying to sell you as you wait. Then, when u meet her, her bedside manner is non-existent. I came there after an eye-trauma. She put drops in my eyes &, when i could not see, i asked if i could drive home. She said 'you should be okay'?! I drove blindly, down Howard Ave. praying I'd make it. I cried when I was in her office due to my eye trauma and, not only did she say I was 'difficult' (nice) she put a negative note in my file!! This Dr is an unprofessional, money grubb... read more
Dr. Chiu is perhaps the worst doctor in Ontario. Waiting for a specialist appointment could be a long period of time to begin with, but this office changed my appointment 3 times. I ended up seeing her after one whole year since they had received the referral. Once at their office, I waited 4 hours! I was there for a total of 5.5 hours where she jumped from one patient to another not remembering what the issues were for each patient. Good surgeon, (reputable surgeon and it's my personal experience). Office appointments leading up to surgery and afterward had issues involving dilation of my eyes and then asking me to read and sign a fine-print contract before I leave while everything was blurred, forgetting me in the waiting room until office closing, not letting me know I need to book a follow-up appointment to get stitches removed (or perhaps letting me know verbally while I was coming out of sedation ....a written note would be best).
