I went in for a couple things, one of them being a rash on my scalp. I also had a very swollen lymph node at the base of my skull. He would not look at my scalp thoroughly and told me the lymph node was only the "bony structure of my skull" I had to go to urgent care to find out I have a staph infection on my scalp. Never will I return to him. I suggest anyone looking to go to him stays away.
I took my 3 day old son to Dr. Patel because he was the physician when I delivered at rush. He put him in a plastic toddler scale sitting up to weigh him and let go. I had to catch my 6lb baby so that his head didn't smack the seat. I never went back. It was awful. His office was also very dirty and empty.
Really great doctor! have been going to him for about 10 years if not more. Honestly best physician ever, he knows exactly what to give you to make you feel better and knows how to determine what you have. He is very polite as well and has never been rude to me or any other patients that have ever been present at the time I was there.
This doctor is more worried about taking your Co pays. He doesn't look at your files to see what medical actions should be taken. Loves writing prescriptions for drugs and doesn't care if the drugs affect what you have. When u question him about the drugs, he gets angry and yells and called names. I have been to the emergency room because of his actions many times. I will be filing a complaint on him don't advise u seem him at all.
