I unfortunately have been seeing Dr. Khatoon for a while now due to having medicaid. Everyone said she was the best psychiatrist in the health center but I genuinely have no idea how. She does not listen and interrupts frequently. She continuously tried to get all of my symptoms to fit with depression symptoms (which does not make sense at all). Mechanical, not responsive to individual needs and history. Indifferent to clients feelings. Felt hopeless
I have worked with Dr. Khatoon for over two years and as a 50 yr old woman I found her very understanding, respectful, and to the point. We tried a few different meds and she was very supportive and worked with me to find what finally has made my life a whole new experience--one that I can handle and feel confident about my future. I recommend her for depression and menopausal symptoms, for sure.
Condescending and does not prescribe needed medications
I have been seeing Dr Khatoon for over two years. During that time, she has always been professional, concerned, and astute in her treatment of my depression. In fact, I have never had a doctor as attentive to my changing needs as Dr. Khatoon has been, and I have never felt better in my life. Because of her, I live with a new freedom and happiness.
Lies to her patients abo it treatment plans. Does not accommodate those with developmental disabilities.
