Hands down the best nephrologist I know. I've sent patients to her for years. Never a single complaint. Communicates extremely effectively with patients but also to myself as a Primary Care provider about my patients. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful could not say more.
Seems to believe that a family member asking questions about their loved ones care equates to being disrespectful to her delicate sensibilities. My daughter, who is on dialysis, was becoming fluid overloaded because Pasumarthy was not doing her job competently. She then proceeded to try passing the blame to my daughter and another doctor instead of making changes to her dialysis regime. My daughter and I fired her on the spot.
