Dr. Licata projects a confident and upbeat manner. However, the light manner intended no doubt to counter the gravity of the information she’s imparting, instead comes off as dismissive, reducing both the patient and their condition to an irrelevancy. The - don’t worry, it’ll all be fine - negates the patient’s very real worries and past experiences that didn’t turn out fine.
I would recommend Dr Licata to any family or friends. She was very friendly and warm, very patient and thorough in answering the questions that I had, and very competent.
I recently had an appointment with Dr. Anita Licata at Four Seasons Dermatology. The receptionists and nurses were kind, and the waiting area was comfortable. My appointment with Dr. Licata was neither kind nor comfortable. Dr. Licata was brusque and dismissive of my health concerns. She wouldn’t let me explain the issue, which I have been dealing with for months and have considerable expertise, before insisting she look at the area. She suggested a biopsy, an unnecessary and potentially risky
I have seen her three times and each time have felt incredibly rushed, even more so than the usual rush job doctors give us these days. I honestly don't know how she can do a full body exam in less than three minutes.
