After bad experiences at my dentist in Alameda, I knew I would get great care at Dr. Y's practice; she was my dentist for years when I worked in SF. And, yes, it was worth traveling to the City, paying out of pocket because she is honest, excellent a what she does and her hygienist has NEVER hurt me. She and her staff are taking every precaution during the pandemic, so you needn't worry about that either.
Great dentist and very fair with pricing. Doesn't nickel & dime like others I've tried in the past. Been going to her since 2001. The hygienist, Monica, is awesome with kids.
She is great! The staff was so kind to me knowing that I was terrified to be there. I hadn't been to the dentist in like 10 years! Luckily it wasn't at all as bad as I thought. She spent time with me before and after the cleaning. I felt like she actually cared about making my teeth healthier and not just there to do a job.
