Dr. Patel was able to get me in and schedule a surgery within two days of receiving a phone call from my PCP and ENT. Other pulmonologists in the area were going to make me wait months. He figured out what was wrong, treated me, and had me back to work within 2 weeks when I'd been out of work for months with other docs having no idea what was going on. He's talented, competent, compassionate, and takes time to explain treatments to patients. I'd never go anywhere else.
I was refered to Dr Patel for spooible sleep disorder. I would wake up 3-4 times a night, never reach reme sleep, was tried all day and having strange dreams. it never occured to me that I had sleep apnea. With one simple test, Dr Patel confirimed the diagnosis, started me on CPAC machine. His treatment plan was clear and understandable. His "bedside manner"is very compassionate.
Dr. Patel is inspiring. Seeing a pulmonologist when you have a complaint that could be serious is really a scary event. I felt lost, but Dr. Patel was friendly and not at all scary or pretentious and explained everything well. I was referred for another CAT scan and began to ramble nervously, and Dr. Patel actually waited until I caught up with myself and regained composure. After that, I knew I would be in good hands not matter the outcome!
I was referred to Dr. Patel after my lung cancer surgery. I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Patel and his staff. The staff was polite and helpful. Dr. Patel was very thorough and devoted sufficient time to meet with me. I find him very sincere in the treatment of his patients. I am so glad he is my pulmonary doctor.
