Dr Abdulla's practice incorporates unfair, misleading, non transparent, and frankly shady billing practices. They implied verbally that I would receive at least partial insurance reimbursement for a TMJ device and treatment plan yet when my insurer paid they kept the money for themselves, receiving duplicate monies for the same services from both myself and the insurer! I fear that my dear, gentle friend has fallen victim to a scam here. She was quoted $165.00 for her consultation. However, while seated in the dentist's chair, she was informed by Sheryl or Cherry front office that an additional $47.00 would be charged for an x-ray of a single tooth! A dental consultation should encompass x-rays! A FULL MOUTH XRAY, no less. I sincerely hope they acknowledge this error and rectify the situation for my friend. Dr Abdulla, Sherry and team are superb at treating sleep apnea. They are absolute experts and wonderful people too! Go to the best!
Sherry at the front desk is nice and helpful. The doctor seemed nice….however strongly do not recommend. Several others have mentioned feeling they were scammed. I felt like I had walked into a used car lot and was being manipulated to make a decision without sufficient information. My mistake was not saying no to the exorbitant $149 consult fee up front which is not used for services if you decide to purchase mouth guard for sleep apnea. I received treatment that did relieve the pain temporarily at the practice, but then the pain would come back once I left. I was diagosed properly by another Doctor with a TMJ joint issue vs. a muscle and realized their treatment began creating more pain than resolve. I stopped the treatment plan midway, explained what was happening and asked for a refund which was declined. I don't believe it was a fair outcome or ending.
