Dr. Cammarata takes the time needed to answer questions, and I appreciate very much that surgery isn't the first suggestion (but think it would be if needed.) The staff are all very helpful and courteous at EmergeOrtho. They are the only Ortho docs my family and I will go to in WNC - and we have tried several in decades past who are in closer proximity.
The run up to my surgery was thorough. The surgery itself was remarkably seamless and my recovery was faster and more complete than anticipated. The PT team at EmergOrtho deserves a shout out for taking great care of me.
I’ve seen 2 doctors at EmergeOrtho and have had good experiences with both. Most recently I met with Dr. Cammarata for an enflamed rotator cuff (also saw him about a year ago). He has a great “bedside manner”! He’s calm, answers questions patiently and gave me the sense that he cared. Highly recommend him and EmergeOrtho.

Dr Cammarata is the Best. He explains everything so well and takes plenty of time with his patients. He’s done two successful hand surgeries on me and I got instant relief. I would highly recommend him…and the new Orthopedic Surgery Center is first class…a lovely facility
He has performed surgery for my arthritis thumb of which I could not use at all and it is almost 100% …excellent bedside…he explained every detail and answered all my questions..I will be seeing him again for a shoulder that has not worked for 10 years and I’m looking forward to the outcome,…definitely recommend to anyone who wants good results and good healing
