Had an appointment with the Nurse Practitioner, she was excellent. However, went for a visit that is covered by my insurance and something was found. Instead of calling in the prescription to my pharmacy, I was told that they needed to see me face to face to write a prescription. Originally gave me one price for the visit and when I told them I wasn't paying that amount, it was dropped 20 dollars. I will never step foot back in that office again. I would not recommend this office to anyone!
Waiting over a month for someone to call me for my test. You never see Dr. Ayoola. Always her nurse practitioner. Yet my insurance is being charged that as if I saw her. Dr. Ayoola rather teach on the side, so just close the office. Why even be a dr.
Dr. Ayoola is very kind, considerate and caring Doctor who treats each patient with the respect and time they deserve at each visit. She does not rush you in and out, she spends time listening to your concerns and explaining thoroughly her recommendations. I highly recommend you come here if you want hands on care.
Expect to never see a doctor. Dr. Ayoola is NEVER in the office or is overbooked. Wait times are always 30-40 minutes after your appointment time and then you'll wait another 30 in a room, just to see the nurse practitioner. If you have tests/ labs done, don't expect a call with results till at least 10 days later. If you call the office, you'll be placed on hold, hung up on, or given wrong information. The only upside to this office is Ernestine, she's great at what she does.
Be prepared to wait 2+ hours, even w/ an appt. Be prepared for gross coding mistakes that will leave you out of pocket 1k for covered exams. Be prepared to be overcharged for your medical records even when you show them TX Administrative code 165.2 showing you are being overcharged by 50%. Be prepared to be ignored when you leave voice mails, in office messages, and faxes. Be prepared to only be communicated with if you send a letter by certified mail. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy here
I have been seeing Dr. Ayoola since I moved to the Northwest side of town 10 years ago. She is patient and understanding. She is also not afraid to tell you like it is. I have recommended her to my sister who relocated to the Northwest side of town and my sister has been seeing her for about 3 years now.
Dr Ayoola is a nice and caring Doctor. She just needs some help. I think maybe they book to many appointments to close together and it causes her to get behind. I know the more patients the more money but then you lose patients as well because when your sick you want to be seen within a reasonable time maybe 30 minutes max. Also when you leave her office in the dark there is no lighting outside. That could be fixed easily. Also when doctor says I'll be back don't send someone else in your place.
Dr. Ayoola is my mother's Physician. My mother was very resistant to changing doctors a few years ago, but after researching physicians, I found Dr. Ayoola. Her staff is professional, kind, patient and really cares about the patients. You'll wait 20-30 minutes to see her (it's worth it), but she doesn't make you feel rushed and you feel comfortable with her. She does a very thorough job as a Clinician and makes you stay "on top" of your health. She does the Medical profession PROUD!
