I had my first appointment with Dr Hawks and she was cold, in a hurry, dismissive and actually told me to be quiet when I asked a question. She didn’t want me to talk or do any reading myself. Didn’t want me involved and responded rude and negatively to me when I hung my head because I didn’t want to up my prednisone. She said ”well I can see right now that you aren’t willing to do what I ask you to!” She showed no empathy or concern at all. She is a great Doctor. Who communicates well.
On the 1st visit, she was rude & actually talked over me to stop me from saying something about my problem. Her staff is a joke. They took 4 vials of blood (can't even describe how she was pumping the needle in & out of my arm)....then they lost it & told me to give more on next visit. At that next visit the nurse took me from the waiting room straight to be weighed, did that & when we got to the exam room she actually asked me what the scale said! Treat yourself before going there
