8 years ago I was diagnosed with an AVM, kind of a congenital aneurysm. It was recommeded I have surgery and only being 30 at the time, I would bounce back quickly. 3 surgeries to get it done, 1 or 2 months of rehab, and 20% vision loss became a stroke, 1 month coma, 5 surgeries, 8 months phy rehab/4 years speech, and 50% loss.
