I hold two guiding principles in my surgical practice. First, I am treating a human being. Second, I take into account the whole person I am treating. Treating you is a privilege I do not take lightly. You are entrusting me to care for you and I will do so with the highest degree of respect and dignity. I look at each person as more than just a case, a disease, a problem or just a billing opportunity. I treat people as I would want to be treated if I were the patient.

Dr.Higgins was so kind, thoughtful and patient to explain all the different phases of breast cancer to my husband and I at one of the scariest times of our life. He put us at ease throughout the whole process and we felt we were in the best of hands. He shared a prayer with us right before surgery which was so appreciated. I cannot say how much we appreciate Dr.Higgins professional and caring attitude throughout the surgery and all our appointments. I would highly recommend Dr.Higgins to anyone looking for a caring and highl... read more

Dr. Higgins is a great surgeon. More than that, he’s a great person. He really does value his patients. My wife and I never felt rushed in regards to my surgery. He and his staff are wonderful. We feel blessed to have had him as our doctor.
I had a incarcerated unbiblical hernia since giving child birth. It has been 11 years dealing with this ridiculous protruding belly button!! I finally decided to fix it and just had it done 3 days ago!! It looks fantastic and I wish that I had done this sooner!! I am looking foward to wearing a bikini again!!! Dr. Andy Higgins is remarkable. He called me this evening to see how I was doing , I have never had a doctor call to make sure that I was ok. I can't say enough good stuff about him. I found ot about him through Facebo... read more
I'm a twice breast cancer survivor. First time I had a mastectomy by another surgeon. This last time 12/2011 Dr Andy Higgins removed a tumor on my mastectomy scar which is real rare. First time cancer was Stage 0 DCIS. Second time was Stage 3A HER 2 + breast cancer. He cut out 18 nodes, 7 were cancerous. But once the nodes were all cut out he had removed the cancer in my body. But I still went through real strong Chemotherapy and Radiation Treatments because this second time cancer was so deadly and aggressive. My heartfelt ... read more
