12 years ago Dr Wellman did the surgery on badly broken ankle and leg. He did great and was so accommodating during healing keeping my employer bay until I was ready to go back to work. I highly recommend him, great guy too.
I can't believe some of the remarks said about Dr Wellman in the review column. He did both of my knees and was very caring, kind and gentle both times. If I ever need more work done and he is still practicing I will certainly go back to him.

My experience with Dr. Wellman his staff and all those who contributed to my surgery and after care is above excellent. Dr. Wellman has the most exceptional bedside manner and made my surgery a positive experience. I highly recommend Dr Wellman to anyone needing hip or knee surgery. God Bless you Dr.
I'm struggling with an injured knee which 2 previous doctors have blown off/not fully examined. I finally demanded a MRI. Wellman was recommended by a friend so I made an appointment. After what an assistant claimed was a review my records, the appointment was canceled because he couldn't help me. But he hasn't seen the MRI. I've read the report and there's damage, which I'd at least like advice how to help it mend. Is this specialists circling the wagon to protect their own because they screwed up?
