I just saw this doctor, I had a bad fall and injured my knee and foot. I told him it hurts me a lot at the end of the day, his words to me where “everyones Legs hurt at the end of the day” I said it is hard to run after my toddler with these injuries his response was “most people have kids and have to run after them” I asked him what he thought about physical therapy he told me to get myself to the gym. Out of touch and a disappointment. Came in here in June 2025 for consulation for surgery for ongoing left ankle issue. Post traumatic Athritis from stretched ATFL. Is quick to focus on my flat feet which wasnt even the reason I came in. That is in spite of bringing diagnostic imaging results. I eventually went to another practice which is called NY Orthopedics. which offered me my prefered option as one of the surgical options. Worst Orthopedic surgeon doctor Came in here June 2025 for ongoing issue in left ankle in hopes of a surgical option. Preferably a surgery that would target or focus more on my issue. Post traumatic Arthritis stretched ATFL and Talonavicular bone spur with partial cartiliage loss. Despite going in detail about it and mentioning Ankle instability and bringing in past MRI and X ray results in which the issues are mentioned. Excellent doctor. Doesnt push surgery unless he feels its necessary. Explains your situation to you in terms that are understandable step by step. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Would have no problem recommending Dr. Turtel to friends and family.
Very dissapointing!!!. Came in here for ongoing issue left ankle in hopes of a surgical option. Preferably minimally invasive or lesser invasive Doctor tells me that I need a complete foot reconstruction seeing that I am flat footed. Even though my flat feet arent the reason I came to the office. Seemingly, he only sees the flat feet and not the other issue. I am not worried about the flat feet.
