If you have LYME DISEASE/Co-infections, DO NOT GO HERE.
Terrible experience. Late disseminated Lyme disease on one antibiotic for an indeterminate amount of time. Refused to test me for co-infections and mold etc. Said that one antibiotic would do the trick. I got worse. For this ID doc and others Late Lyme and Co's people steer CLEAR.
Very kind and compassionate doctor. Also the first doctor I encountered who mentioned nutrition and environmental factors. He takes a holistic approach, which I appreciated, and did not just push prescription medication as a solution. Very grateful there are still doctors like him around!
I cannot say enough good things about Dr Pugliese! Seriously, who can say that about their doctor? He is knowledgeable, he listens, he works "with you," and he digs to get to the root cause of your issue. I have done all the tests and food protocols recommended, and they have helped tremendously. If you are not willing to do the work, then this is not the place for you.
Great Doctor with a great staff. Highly recommended.
