This is not a review on Carolina Eye Association, it’s a review on Dr. Mincey. Caroline Eye was fine, everyone seemed very nice. I waited to write my review for around 3 months as I didn’t want to write it out of anger, I want it to be helpful. I’m a 66 year old male who had LASIK surgery around 10-12 years ago so I’m use to wearing reading glasses. We had a terrible experience with Dr. Mincey and the entire Carolina Eye Associates office. Dr. Mincey failed to identify a hole in my wife's retina and told her that everything was fine with her eye. My wife went to another doctor for a second opinion, and that doctor discovered the hole in her retina during the first visit. My wife was ignored when she contacted Carolina Eye Associates to discuss the poor care she received. I would not recommend Dr. Mincey or anyone at Carolina Eye Associates.
