This doctor is unbelievably unknowledgeable. The staff is beyond rude, there is a child constantly in the office (behind the counter). When seen for a sore throat, I was given allergy medicine, and sent home with the recommendation of mucinex D. I was not given a culture or anything beyond a look down my throat, and the doctor did say "they were trying to get out early for the weekend." I had no mucus! Was nice, is ALWAYS NICE, however since he has his own building now, he is NOT on time, EXTREMLEY SLOW, HURRIED, his "wife" works in the office...she is a total --itch. Most of the staff is ok I guess, they make themselves appear less than they should be. I had a horrible accident, and after 6 years of faithfulness to him and many referrals, he DID NOT recall the details of this accident. I used to trust his "skill", with my life (literally!), now...not so much...I am looking for another Doctor.
Dr. Swanson and his office staff are all a waste of your time. The wait takes forever, the nurse is rude (the phone staff aswell). He is a creep and stares at my chest the entire time. I have chronic pain that is getting worse and he tends to brush off everything and shrug his shoulders. The last time I went in because my pain was getting worse he just said "what do you want from me, you have chronic pain youve had it all your life...you'll just have to live with it and get over it" (Mind you, im 19...and should not be havin... read more
This doctor is OK, but the staffing situation is bad. Their staffing seems to be inadequate. I had an insurance problem and they said they didn't have anyone to call my insurance company about the problem. Whenever I have a prescription that needs to be renewed, the pharmacy sends a request, but has to do it more than once before they hear back. You really have to stay on top it and don't expect the staff to ever call you about anything. This is an office with 3 doctors, they should be able to afford adequate staffing. We're... read more
Wow, I was very dissapointed with this doctor and his staff. Just call them up and you'll understand immediately. When I met with Dr. Swanson he seemed like he knew what he was doing, however, with a medical intern in the room he seemed more interested in impressing the intern that helping me.
