The problem lies with his office staff. After getting the recommended blood test for the doctors review I received a call notifying me that I had the potential for a heart attack so I asked the staff (Emily) for a referral. Its been 6 months with over 20 calls and e mails and still NO REFERRAL. If you need his staff for a referral then I would definately seek another internist!!
I always have a good experience with Dr Harris when it concerns my health. He has always been there for me whenever I need him, either at his office, phone visit or if I need him to prescribe a medicine by calling the pharmacy because I am not able to see him in person. I would highly recommend him to my friends .

I went to see Dr. Harris because I am having some trouble with my left leg. He recommended doing X-Ray of my leg. I was very pleased with his answers concerning my problem.
He is a caring individual. I did not have a scheduled appointment, but after learning I was in pain, he examined me in his office. He gave me a preliminary diagnosis, and had a CT Scan and lab work performed the same day. He recommended going into the Hospital that night for a procedure to deal with the pain, and prevent possible infection. He and his entire staff treated me excellently. I highly recommend him.
I have always found Dr. Andrew Harris to be friendly, caring, thoughtful, and highly competent. As a retired university medical school professor, I can say that his "bedside manner," asking insightful diagnostic questions, careful listening, broad medical knowledge, and clinical expertise is everything medical school professors want see in physician graduates!! I hope to keep him as my primary care doctor for many years to come.
