Hi, Dr. King this is Erica Alexander. I appreciate what you did for me. But I went to my doctor & the hospital at least 6:7 times during these past 3 months & the hospital told me to go see my regular doctor which is Walters. At the hospital all they do is give me shots & meds that don't work. When I go to my regular dr. he does the same & say next time we're gonna take an xray but never do it they keep saying I pulled a muscle !
Dr. King did back surgery on me twice .!! He is extremely knowledgeable , kind , caring , thoughtful , well mannered .!! He really knows what he does!!! Highly recommend him!!!! Because I live out of the LA area , I only see him when needed .!! Haven't needed to since my last surgery!
He's smart, thoughtful, and deeply cares about the success and health of his patients. He takes the time to explain things in detail.
Dr. King is the best orthopedic surgeon I could have ever asked for. He made sure that my scar wouldn't be visible or obscure. He tends to speak into his recorder often, but he takes notes on all his cases (for future reference). He doesn't give you detailed explanation--it's more of a you're doing good, I want to see you back in a year. However, he did an awesome job. I'd trust my spine in his hands any day. However, the office visits are extremely long.
i seen him when i was 11 for scolosis. he's a good person and knows what he is doing. he operated on me.. im 27 now and im still doing 100% better than before. with no complaints
I give him the best rating possible. He's a wonderful doctor (funny too). He knows what he is talking about and he truly cares for his patients. I am currently seeing him for my scoliosis and I must say I believe he is the best. To the person who rated him poor because he wasted his/ her time, I doubt you have a doctorate. He knows what he is talking about, you, most likely, don't.
Saw Dr. King when I was 16 to document the curvature of my spine. Years later, when trying to determine if my curvature has gotten worse, he simply said he must've drew the lines wrong on the x-ray before asking if my spine interferred with my breathing. Once I said no, he automatically decided that he wouldn't do surgery on my back. My scoliosis still is pretty bad, and was in need of a brace or surgery. What he should have done was explain to me why he thought he screwed up OR contact my parents and explain why their insur... read more
I saw Dr. King from when I was 10 to when I was about 14 for scoliosis. He is an amazing doctor. He's extremely knowledgeable yet down-to-earth. He truly cares about his patients and their families. I ended up needing surgery to correct my scoliosis. I can honestly say that I would not have trusted any other doctor to perform my surgery. Aside from his practice, he is a professor at LSU's medical school & he also conducts research on scoliosis & other areas in orthopedics. I could not have asked for a better doctor. I HIGHLY... read more
