I sought care from Dr Leavitt around 36 weeks pregnant due to a continuous drop in my platelets. His knowledge, friendliness, speedy response time and wonderful bedside manner were such a breath of fresh air during a stressful time in my life. I was continuously blown away by how much time he would spend on the phone with me talking through my labs and answering questions. Icing on the cake is he's clearly passionate about patient care, and he has a great sense of humor. I can't recommend Dr Leavitt enough.
Dr. Leavitt is honestly the best hematologist I've ever had. He takes the time to get to know you and understand your condition. He has great bedside manner as a doctor and never has made me feel rushed. Without his help I would not have gotten the diagnosis and treatment I have been needing after years of being dismissed by other doctors.
Dr. Leavitt is the best doctor I have ever had the privilege to know. He genuinely changed my life for the better by addressing my iron deficiency. Even my primary care doctor has commented on how thorough his notes are. I genuinely appreciate all of his care and highly recommend him to anyone who needs a caring hematologist at the top of his field!
