Where is Dr. Molchon? He disappeared last summer, after years of treating me. no one knows where he is. No one knows where his patient’s medical records are. His office phone number is a voice mail that goes unanswered. Help, I need my medical records.
If your loved ones have Alzheimer's/Dementia, Dr. Molchon is not the right doctor for you. I'm sure he was a great doctor in his young age, but he is so old (sorry had to say it) and past retirement that complicated cases are not his forte. He doesn't answer back phone, he forgets ALOT, and he pretty much has a not-so-helpful front desk gentleman that pretty much just sits there doing nothing. Pros: Highly intelligent, competent both in general and neurogeriatric psychiatric psychiatry. Dr. Molchon studies continuously, stays up to date with both technical and therapeutic interventions.Expert with medications. Very kind, good listener, tailors treatment to individual patient. Good sense of humor. Decades of experience. Models healthy and well adjusted behaviors. Modest. Good boundaries. Much better than most psychiatrists one can find in Northern Virginia.
