I came to L&D at 25 weeks pregnant due to vaginal bleeding, cramping, and a history of complete placenta previa that is now low-lying. The nurses were kind, and thankfully my baby was okay, but my interaction with the doctor left me feeling dismissed and judged during an already stressful situation. My daughter, who is 40 weeks pregnant, went to Labor & Delivery because she lost her mucus plug, had a small amount of blood, and became concerned when the baby was not moving as much. Instead of showing compassion or professionalism, Dr. Andrea Murray came into the room with a very rude and condescending attitude. To continue my review even further about this unprofessional doctor… she falsely informed me that I would not find anyone for my prenatal appointments this far along in my pregnancy. Which was a LIE! I called an OBGYN the very next day and was able to get scheduled. Dr Andrea Murray stated that the only place that would take me this far along with my insurance would UNFORTUNATELY be Grady as if Grady is the worse hospital in Atlanta.
