Dr. Giamalva always takes her time and makes me feel like she is really listening! She has already reviewed my chart before coming in so she knows why I’m there and not looking it up while I’m sitting there. She is knowledge and compassionate. I’m very picky about having a doctor, who is not only knowledgeable, but also compassionate and good bedside manner. Dr. Giamalva is all of these things!
I have always had a wonderful experience and have felt heard and taken care of.
Every time I have met with her, Dr. Giamalva, I had a positive experience. She listened to my concerns, was patient and was open to discussion. She never talked 'down' to me, (as some MD's do). I also did not feel like she was rushing me to hurry up so that she could attend to the next patient. I felt like she valued me as a person and genuinely cared. I highly recommend her.
My experience with this doctor was horrible. I do not recommend her. She needs to go back to her hole where she crawled out of and become a makeup sales person. She has NO WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF TRUE MEDICINE
When I go to seek help regarding mental health and prescriptions she dismisses anything I tell her without giving anytime or genuine care about the topic. Very disappointed. I don’t like seeking help and not being taken seriously.
She's very professional. Having said that, I recommend that you don't choose her if you're into natural treatments and if you have any issues with vaccines. Also she very much wants to "move things along" during your visits. It's very much a business, but overall friendly.
I was referred to Dr. Giamalva by one of my customer....as he stated very smart, good bedside manner and tells you straight. Whatever your question is tell her straight and she will tell you straight.
Our entire family sees Dr. Giamalva. She doesn't a great job of listening and also works well with all of my son's specialists. She is a very caring doctor, would definitely recommend.
My daughter sees Dr. Giamalva, and she is amazing! She is very approachable and friendly, and my daughter feels very comfortable talking with her. I would highly recommend her, and often do, to friends and family looking for a provider.
