Absolutely! She’s the best...
I had an outpatient surgery For squamous cells with Dr. Garza, I was in and out without complaint or complications. I would definitely recommend. -J. Pitts
Dr Garza is an amazing surgeon. She is highly competent, professional, warm and caring. Following an unsuccessful surgery by a different surgeon, resulting in a 6-month period with several open, oozing wounds, and an infected un-healing intestine (which the original surgeon kept saying would eventually heal) I was referred to Dr Garza. As soon as she examined me she stated “you can’t live like this” and scheduled me for a major repair surgery, assisted by Dr Sanjeev Puri (also amazing!). Several months later, and a couple of... read more
I almost didn't want to go into the office. Dr. Garza was competent, calm and reassuring. Exactly what I needed. I will recommend to to family and friends alike.
I really liked Dr. Garza but there were several problems with the care I received from her: 1. office visit anoscopy was not thorough enough 2. her practice is located at a hospital, so for my 30 minute office visit I was charged a $25 copay and then billed $300 from the hospital for “Outpatient Surgery” even though no surgery was performed that day 3. later surgery was not successful as a result of the anoscopy not being thorough enough at the initial visit to see the full extent of the problem
Dr. Garza made me feel comfortable from the start. I waited years to address my issues due to the nature of them and being embarrassed to "tell" anyone about the problem. Dr. Garza normalized the process, gave me options on treatment and made my surgery happen fairly quickly. The procedure was without pain and recovery was tolerable. I was back to work within six days. Dr. Garza took time with me, answered my questions, explained everything and what to expect in the future. I recommend her.
Her staff took the time to ask about my medical history and I had my MRI images and report dropped off in advance. When I was seen by her, she did not know anything about me, she did not even know that I provided images and a report related to my condition. Even when I informed her of my MRI report, she did not take a minute to locate and look at the report. After explaining my concerns, she went to ask me what I want to do, making it my decision to have surgery or not. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
Not enough knowledge.
Not experienced. Need more training and education. Need to be humble. She thinks she is good but she is not. She is unable to make accurate diagnoses.
