He did not assess my medication history with me. He did not listen. He was very brusque and hurried. His solutions and recommendations were not helpful and in fact were harmful. I do not recommend him. I am a nurse and I know how a visit with a health care provider should be conducted. I am quite disappointed.
Called to reschedule my appt. less than 2 hrs before time and offered new appt. three months away. What great care !!!!
This office refuses to return simple phone calls. I'm a patient trying to make an appointment, referred by another physician and the so called nurse practitioner, Tara Dorsey, won't return my calls. This is terrible customer service and a reflection of this practice as a whole. Please see my Google review. The Dr. seemed personable but needs to hire a more competent staff. He also seemed eager to remove my gall bladder without the HIDA scan which is what is recommended. Don't recommend!!!

Awful experience from a poor excuse of a GI. he took no time to actually look at the major symptoms I was having, ordered an expensive scan that came back with nothing, and then had 0 valid next steps. Dr. Karen and his nurse should be retrained to care about their patients and outcomes, because this was a sorry excuse for an experience.
If you’re looking for a doctor who actually listens, cares, and knows what they’re doing, Dr. Kinzel is not the one. My experience with him was nothing short of frustrating. He was dismissive, uninterested, and seemed more focused on rushing me out the door than actually addressing my concerns. He doesn’t listen to concerns and doesn’t care about your future—only the money he will make. A real doctor should prioritize patient care, but that’s clearly not the case here. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.
He listened to each of my concerns and addressed each one of them. Plus when I had my procedure done they could not get an IV on me and he tried to get it. In all my years I have never had a doc try to help in that way pre-procedure. I recommend him to anyone who asks.
Excellent. Very good bedside manner. Explained everything. Made sure I had sufficient pain relief before requiring me to get up on my feet every day.
