I want to share my terrible experience that I had with Dr. Amy Strobbe. I was an established patient with Dr. Amy Strobbe. I was very sick & thought it could be COVID, so I called her office to make an appointment for later that day. Her office made the appointment for later that day. Then her office called back & said that they would NOT see me because I had an outstanding balance on my account. I was very sick this entire year. I had wanted a female doctor. Gulf coast medical is a teaching type office. You will see a person who takes your vitals, then a physician assistant who reports to Dr Amy Strobbe. You see Dr the last 5 minutes of your appointment. I received adequate care. Good referrals. Had some scary moments with getting my meds. I got the quickest response to a problem from the online instant message on the GCMC1 portal. The office was always very crowded. Was admitted with pains , nurses couldn’t get her on the cell to prescribe medication for me even as little as fluids, Reason is the office is closed for the day. Meanwhile was admitted in Trinity Hospital. Such a professional
Dr. Michael Strobbe was my family Dr for the past 4yrs couldn't have ask for a better Dr than he was to me. I had to move back to SC bc of my Dad passing with cancer and I had to move back to SC August 3rd and on the 18th of January of 2020 he passed away and now I'm taking care of my mother bc I'm the only biologically child of hers and I will take care of her for it's my job to do biblically since Dad passed and I made him a promise that I would do right and everything he wanted me to do.
