Doctor was professional and patient answered all my questions, the bad reviews made me skeptical but my experience from staff to wait was all very pleasant
I was guided to her after my son having what seems to be pandas or autoimmune encephalitis after having streph and positive Lymes last year in Nov. She was whom I was told to go to. In the appt she completely disregarded any of my concerns, as my child was already in a manic state. I was told to go to children’s specialized hospital. Which I did call and they don’t treat it. I found her to be snooty and no compassion for what I was going through. I stood up and left immediately.
I was surprised to read the other reviews, as we had a totally different experience with Dr. Maholtra. We saw her in September, after my son was hospitalized, diagnosed with and treated for tick related illnesses. After waiting for over an hour in the examination room, she came in, visibly annoyed, sat on her chair and began staring in her computer. She is one of those rare doctors who take the time to fully examine the patient and listen to your concerns. She also explained the diagnosis so we could understand what was going on. Really a great doctor.
