We (James and Donna Blackman) have been using Dr. Avendano for over 30 years we cannot say enough about him - he is kind, considerate, loves the Lord, compassionate - just a wonderful person and Dr. - he has helped my husband so much - he really cares about you as a person and patient. Dr Avendaño is a smart guy but he’s biased and partial… often times he’s is not objective and he is also very sarcastic making him show lack of genuine concerns and empathy.
I worked with Dr Avendaño, he is friendly and funny in the surface but he lacks compassion and true empathy. He professes deep religious values but doesn’t reflect them in practice. He is often sarcastic and unfair.
My mother has been following up with him for over 10 years seriously the best doctors!!! May the lord continue using to save life’s!!!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Avendano for over 10 years. He is a wonderful doctor with the best bed time manners of any doctor I've seen in a long time. He was also my Mom's doctor and is my husband's doctor. We all have great respect for him.
This man is an amazing doctor. He is MY doctor. I highly recommend anyone needing a heart doctor to consider going to see him. He has an outstanding bedside manner.

Dr.Avendano one of the few physicians I feel warrants five stars. Not only is he a skilled cardiologist he is also compassionate and listens. Never rushed and he gives you his full attention with a smile. He was instrumental in saving my 96 year old mother when others failed her. He has been my cardiologist since moving back to Texas and can unequivocally recommend him and I have to many friends.
