It was my first visit with Patel, she seemed rushy, sarcastic, acted liked she didn't want to be bothered, and was not friendly, during the eye exam or when I picked up glasses. I didn't feel good seeing her. Jeff was very friendly, helpful, seemed to care and was nice.

My 1st visit with Dr. Patel and I have absolutely NO complaints! Dr. Patel was very pleasant to work with, very punctual to my appointment time, and extremely forthcoming with providing information and insight around my exam. I felt like I was being treated like a patient that has been visiting for years, even though it was my 1st visit. I would definitely recommend her and her staff!

She is very crass. My mother was there to pick up a pr. of glasses, she had her read from the receipt instead of giving her the eye test sheet to see if she could read out of the glasses. Then she implied that since she didn’t do the exam at Pearle Vision, that my mom should go back to her optometrist (Rush hospital) because it wasn’t Pearle Vision’s fault if she can’t see out of the glasses. This was very insensitive to my mother who is 101 yrs. old. Dr. Patel is disrespectful.

I would agree based on experience that Dr. Patel is unprofessional. Despite arriving 20 minutes early for my daughter's appointment, Dr. Patel said she was unsure if she would see us. She then decided she would not because she said she had two other patients and closed at 6. This was 530. There was no one else there. My daughter who needs glasses because of headaches did not get her appointment. Inexplicably disappointed. Unprofessional indeed.
