With every visit, I was treated like I was a neglectful mother bc my child was a late talker and was skinny. I was told that the reason he wasn't talking was bc I wasn't talking to him. My child is now much older and we just found out that he has a tongue tie, thus his speech issues. Dr. Sheth also overprescribed antibiotics. Once we changed pediatricians, it was a better experience with a doctor who was knowledgeable, well read and thoughtful.
No Complaints about the Dr. But horrible staff. They are very rude and think patient is bound to bear their rudeness. They do not give you any reminder call if you have an appointment after one month. If you call them thye will put blame on you. In new location the phone is always busy and keeps you on hold for 11-17 min. All the old staff members should be changed so that patients can take benifit of expertise of the DR. Leaving him because of unease of getting appointments.
An amazing individual with a superior diagnostic skills. I have known Dr Sheth through 4 children and 4 grandchildre. I have never had a reason to question anything he has ever said to me. Working in the medical industry...that is rare
Thorough. Brought our daughter back to Dr Sheth after several years away. Not only did he quickly diagnose her respiratory issue, but after a physical exam he noticed (just by examining) that she had a slight curvature to her spine. Afterward was referred to RWJ Pediatrics, they confirmed his assessment. Thankfully the curvature was less than 8° and no action is needed but it's great to know that his diagnosises and opinions are solid and based on long experience.
Dr. Sheth is one of the rare doctors you'd come across in this day and age. As people say old is gold, he spends quality time with all his patients. I've been here 4 times with my daughter and have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Sheth. He was very attentive when we first went to meet him, and discuss our daughter who was just getting discharged from the hospital. He takes care of kids as if they are his own, and is always willing to offer advice via phone. Highly Recommend Dr Sheth.
He truly cared and knew my children and me. I kept my two daughters under his care until they were 22 and 21. I trusted his judgement which was always correct and he respected my observations about their illnesses. I was saddened to leave his practice when my girls aged out and did not want to be the oldest in the room. Dr. Sheth had a kind way of making me sit down, to calm down and not pace with worry. I am happy to say that he is now my two grand-kids doctor. Second generation says a lot.
Dr sheth is a very nice doctor but one of his staff member name Lori is very rude, un proffesional. i hate going to Dr's office because of her.
