Excellent experience! Some reviews mention about the wait, but it's worth the wait! He takes time with each patient, very thorough & knowledgeable. His office is very busy, but that is also a reflection of what a wonderful specialist he is with a hard working staff. He also is easy to talk with & explains the what, why, & treatment, truly invested & cares about his patient's health & wellbeing. I'm very grateful to have found him in this area & to be getting answers!

As skilled as Dr Sawar likes to brag that he is, his office is way way overbooked and he is stretched too thin to be of any help to new patients. The staff is as well. It is true what other reviewers say that they do not call in your prescriptions. They also do not schedule tests as promised. And while they are polite to your face, my first day there they were comparing notes on who their least favorite patients are. I paid cash for these visits and never got a proper diagnosis because Dr Sawar couldn't keep track of our vis... read more

I brought my brother to Dr. sawar, he had epilepsy for 10 years and non of the medications were controlling his seizures, Dr. sawar was very kind to get us seen as quickly as possible, he was understanding of my brother frustration of trying so much medicine without improvement. after Dr. sawar did a full evaluation, he gave us recommendations to manage the epilepsy. I can say that finally my brother got his epilepsy under control thanks to Dr. sawar.

I went to Dr. Sawar on a recommendation from my physician. I arrived 30 minutes early to my appointment and then when my appointment came up I had to wait an hour before he would see me. Once I was in his office he asked me several questions and acted like he had better things to do than talk to me. He then told me to call my doctor so he could ask him several questions. Very unprofessional. His staff is friendly and polite, but I would not recommend him to anyone.

I took my mother in for an appointment in November, the doctor took AN HOUR to get to her. His wonderful staff continued to check on her and I and make sure everything was okay and if I needed anything. THEN She finally got called to be taken back he took another 15 minutes to come in the room with her. Once he came into the room with her, 10 minutes into the appointment he got on his phone and walked out of the room and made me wait for another 10 minutes for him to come back in, and then started talking about stocks? Sir, ... read more

My doctor from St. Louis wanted me to find a doctor down home. I haven’t had any episodes since 2015 and I needed a check up with a neurologist. Dr.Sawar did just that MRIs, x-rays, CT scans, and labs. Dr. Sawar explains everything and understands my other dx: mitochondrial myopathy with melees. He also gave me new dx: ankylosis spondylitis so I started massage therapy on my upper body. Tracy Creal Springs IL

Dr. Sawar is the best Neurologist/Rumatologist in this area. He is a very personable doctor who sincerely cares about his clients. I was amazed at how well he listened and the time he spends with his patients. It is also obvious that he has more knowledge about his field than the majority of other physicians. The combination of his extensive knowledge, willingness to listen, and determination to keep looking until true answers and soultions are found make him the best doctor you will ever meet.
