I am writing this review on behalf of my mother , with her permission . My mother underwent a facelift January 2025 specifically to address her chin and jowls. Unfortunately, both the experience and the final outcome were disappointing. When I arrived to pick my mother after surgery , she was seated in her wheelchair near the entrance/ exit. I can only say good things about Dr. Fortin, and her staff. Dr. Fortin went above and beyond of what I expected my procedure to be. I was to get this, and she gave that, even while listening to my endless chatter. Nurse Cindy held my hand while I squeezed, I can honestly say she's one tough cookie, because I truly squeezed. I recomend Dr. Fortin to anyone who asks. My implants healed so far apart, it’s a huge insecurity now 😩
Had a tummy tuck (fleur de lis) done years ago with Dr. Fortin. Am not happy with my upper abdominal results and scar but am happy with the incision from hip to hip. Opted to book a consultation from Ottawa to Sudbury to consider having breast lift, implant and brachioplasty done. Cancelled my appointments well in advance (weeks) due to conflicts twice. My husband had a minor procedure done here based off the good reviews. While the excision itself seems successful, the aftercare and doctor’s attitude were poor. She seemed rushed and uncaring, and moved the chair while she had the needle for the numbing agent actively inside my husband, which he felt acutely. He was told 4-6 weeks for recovery in office, then handed aftercare sheets that said 3-4 weeks.
