My mom was seen by Dr. Stone on 11/18/2022 with stroke-like symptoms. She was brought down to the ED by a nurse from her PCP's office also at St. Joe's. Her discharge paperwork from her PCP said to head to the ER asap to rule out a stroke, which they failed to do. She had blood work done and a chest X-ray, but was not given a CT scan, which as a nurse I know is VITAL in diagnosing a stroke. Dr. Stone is the most knowledgeable Dr. I have had in any emergency room hospital. I told him years ago that he should be in private practice.
