wonderful surgeon excellent
Iam a retired nurse practitioner who was referred to Dr McAteer for excision of a large skin infection on my leg. I found her to be a kind, caring surgeon. Exams and explanations were thorough. I never felt rushed. She thoroughly explained all options . Office staff made me feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend this office.

Dr. McAteer removed a lump from my breast in 2011. This was an excisional biopsy, but she took out the whole tumor, which was the size of a grape. It turned out to be cancerous, but since she took out the exact right amount, enough to give me clean margins, I didn't need additional surgery. She has amazing surgical technique, and hid the scar below my nipple, and even I can't find it. She's an artist, really. She was also so compassionate.
