Dr. Heaman is the first physician I have seen who really listened to my needs with my hearing disability and was patient and persistent to get me help. He also was able to diagnose a really strange and rare condition on my legs the moment he looked at them. All of my peers at UO say he is the most favorable physician at the health center!
Had an initial visit which was amicable and positive, however after scheduling a follow-up examination I was sent a letter before my visit with an extremely disrespectful, judgemental and condescending tone. After seeing his previous reviews it would seem my initial visit was not in line with his regular sub-standard treatment. Clearly lacks professionalism, education and courtesy in his practice.
I'd like to echo the other reviewer's complaint, as I felt similarly uncomfortable with how Allen treated me during my visit. He did seem like he was trying to make me feel bad for coming in, but at the same time seemed like he was trying to be nice. It was both disturbing, and stressful.
This is a direct complaint against Allen P. Heaman. I believe he treated me in a condescending and demeaning manner during my last visit. Here's a description of his behavior: He spent the first half of the session interrogating me on why I thought my injury was "worthy of being seen."
