Dr. Friedman is AWESOME! His team accepted my daughter into the program at Duke after just a brief conversation with her neuro in Tampa. She was transported by ambulance (a 12 hour drive) to Duke for surgery. Dr. Friedman have us hope where none existed and performed a resection of the right frontal lobe leaving my daughter with exactly zero deficits when others expected long term or permanent problems. I am so thankful that we were led to Dr. Friedman and his amazing team!
Dr. Friedman is a man who encompasses the essential traits of a neurosurgeon: miraculous hands and experience; honest advocacy for his patients; and humble kindness in his communications with us. I'm honored to have had my brain tumor resected by him.
