I had been experiencing lower back and hip pain for a number of months resulting from some lumbar disc issues that had progressed over time. I was looking for a doctor that would take a more conservative approach instead of proposing more aggressive spine surgery. If that is the approach you want, he is the doctor to see. Fantastic spine doctor. Would give a 10 star rating if I could. He tells it like it is even if it makes you uncomfortable. Sometimes reality sucks. First saw him at OAWF and he then went to Alexander. I followed him there. Would not go to any other spine specialist. Thank you Dr Zahrai.

The only reason I am giving him one star is that my husband didn’t have to wait to see him. My husband had been in pain for months and finally had a MRI done that came back with 5 bulging discs and a rip in his spine. He has been using a cane because he can hardly stand the pain and is having a hard time walking. He has had them for awhile and was sent back to work about - year ago. His job is lifting heavy equipment and a lot of bending . It is a workman’s comp and he let us know he could go back to work with no restriction... read more
