I wouldn’t send anyone to him!! He didn’t listen to me at all. All his appts were over the phone and last no more than 2.5 minutes. He asked the same scripted questions during each call and cut me off when I tried to say anything at all. He doesn’t need to be treating anyone and thank God he is no longer working at Eastridge.

Dr. Asghar has been really helpful and a very professional doctor. He genuinely seems concerned about your progress.

I cannot recommend this psychiatrist. He says things that are inappropriate. He does not listen to what YOU have to say. He usually just writes in his notes what he wrote last time and gets you out in 5-10 min. My goal was to get off of the medications and not be a worthless, sleeping zombie. If you have anxiety and want help, i personally do not recommend that you see him.

Explains symptoms and very informative. Does not oversimplify, sugar coat, or excessively diagnose: does not believe in over prescribing add or schizophrenia unless meets actual criteria. By far Doctor Asghar had been very helpful and positive in my recovery process: he really wants to help/ shows compassion. I had schizophrenia when I was 15 but he believes that it's less severe and that I was mislabeled with adhd and schizo. Since I have been seeing him i am overall much better and happier. :)
