Update Post Op! I owe my life to Dr. Gurmendi. After 9 months of nausea, vomiting, severe constipation, severe bloating and severe upper left quadrant pain due to another surgeons negligence, it’s all over. I was in the ER on a weekly to bi-weekly basis from being so sick. He is the only surgeon who listened to me and who actually cared. Highly recommend Dr. Gurmendi. Best bedside manners. Went in with leg pain and after my procedures, I am finally painfree!!! CAN'T THANK HIM ENOUGH!
I saw him due to pain in my legs. Had me take an ultra sound test on my legs due to my venous insufficiency, severe clotting issues, and valve failure. Told me my legs were bad, and not much he could do, but ordered another test. Came in for follow up, he didn't know who I was, said he couldn't do anything, no answer on test result. Gave referral to another doctor for "cosmetic surgery". I was furious. He had very little compassion, nor did he show any care. Then just got up and left.
On February 29, at 10:00am, my husband who has Parkinson's underwent a surgical procedure on his right ankle in the office of Dr. Alfredo Gurmendi. After this in office surgical procedure, my husband's leg swelled up to 15 inches around. Today, my husband went back to follow up & Dr Gurmendi told my husband that Dr Gurmendi nicked a nerve during this process. Now, my husband can't walk without experiencing severe pain. My husband, 69. I don't recommend Dr Gurmendi. You have been warned.
