During an extraction he broke my jaw. He said he didn't. Two weeks later, in excruciating pain, I demanded he take an X-ray. He finally did and then showed me exactly where he broke my jaw. He blithely claimed it was no big deal and it would be fine in a week or so. Meanwhile, I was barely functioning and drinking soup out of a straw at that point. I went to another oral surgeon who took a 3D X-ray said the break was not at all where Mizen claimed it was. It was much more serious and I was immediately put on a soft food diet... read more
Terrible. He removed a benign growth on my tongue in May and it is still numb. I was never told about the possible problems the surgery entailed. He made it sound like no big deal. Don't go to this surgeon.
The next time I want someone to leave a part of my wisdom tooth in during the extraction, say the removal was successful, have two life threatening infections that required two separate surgeries to fix over 3 months and then maybe you can eat without pain, I’ll go to Dr. Mizin. Until then, I’m alright. Be warned
Stay Away of this Dr. he placed my implant in a wring spot now I have to re do it, there is a reason a move his clinic every year to different location , he is running away from his unhappy clients!
I went to Dr. Alexei Mizin to remove my four wisdom teeth, all of which were impacted with the bottom two entirely submerged beneath the gums while the top were poking out. I was really scared about surgery, but Dr. Mizin was quite patient and the staff got me into emergency surgery (general anesthesia, e.g. sleeping surgery) quickly when they got infected. I'm very grateful for Dr. Mizin and the staff who helped me get through my nerves that day. And I've listened to post-op instructions very carefully and the wisdom teeth ... read more
Rocks??Good Service
The staff is polite, very informative and extremely helpful. The doctor is fantastic and military trained and has probably seen every bad tooth that the military can throw at him. Mike R. Beche
Dr Mizin removed one of my wisdom teeth a week ago. I was properly prepared by his staff and the removal itself, in spite of twisted roots, took perhaps thirty seconds. The tooth had previously been crowned and its loss a couple of years ago meant that there wasn't much tooth remaining above gum level. In spite of that Dr. Mizin extracted the tooth without breaking it. To my surprise I experienced no pain following the surgery. I followed the post surgery instructions and had no problems at all.
He was not helpful. I was very disappointed in him. He did not seem caring or competent. Also, he was sloppy and unshaven.
Dr. Alexei Mizin has a 3.4 star rating with 12 reviews.
