I have been seeing Dr. Fingesten for years. She actually practices medicine: she LISTENS to her patients, is very thorough in her examinations, and considerate of a patient's fears and concerns. My husband had been having health issues and seen many doctors - it was Dr. Fingesten who got him on the right path to health. I would recommend her to anyone!
This doctor has very bad manners. She shouts and do not have any good manners. She does not respect her patients. It is uncredible that she can have patients.
Dr. Fingesten always takes the time to listen to any issues I have and she works with me to find the solution. Dr. Fingesten takes good care of her patients.
Dr. Fingesten is an excellent primary care doctor. She is also an expert in geriatric and addiction medicine. I’ve been her patient for 12 years and consider myself very lucky to have found her. Dr. Fingesten is very caring, very diligent, and very thorough. She spends a lot of time with you and gets to know you as a whole person. Sometimes there are long waits, but these can be minimized by booking early appointments or calling to ask how far behind the doctor is running.
Dr. Fingesten has been my primary care physician for about 20 years. She is very thorough, extremely knowledgeable about medications and their interactions, and makes sure I get all the clinical preventive services I need. As a person of 76, I am pleased that she has training in geriatrics as well as general internal medicine. She is a good person as well, which means a lot to me; she truly cares about her patients. The one downside is that she runs late most of the time. That's because she spends more time than scheduled wi... read more
I have been Dr. Fingesten's patient for about 20 years. She is an EXTREMELY good physician from a technical perspective, and she is warm and thoughtful as well. I would recommend her to anyone but especially to older patients, since she has training in geriatrics as well as internal medicine. She is not board-certified in geriatrics (she is in internal medicine) but she has and used her extensive training. Please keep in mind that this makes a huge difference when it comes to prescribing appropriately.
I had an appointment with the doctor and waited for almost two hours. My previous appointment also had a wait of more than half an hour. There was no explanation for the extended wait nor any apologies. Making patients wait has become commonplace. This behavior is nothing less than low grade abuse. Our time is valuable too. I would not recommend this doctor .
It is almost impossible to get through to speak to a person in the office. Nice enough when your'e in the office with the doctor, but follow-up is extremely lacking.
It's hard to find a good hearted doctor these days and I am happy I came across Dr. Fingesten. Not only was she able to help me understand a condition that for years many doctors could not diagnose; she helped me get the right follow up team. She also remembers you and takes her time with you. Overall great care.
