Dr. Sawatzke's discharge assistant was extremely rude to me. She explained nothing, and simply repeated the same sentence over and over louder and louder, until I finally left.
Sawatzke is a terrible doctor. I've seen him for 2 years now. I've had multiple visits with multiple x-rays and an MRI. Every visit I have had with him, I have to wait at least 45 minutes PAST the scheduled appointment time, last time was a full hour and a half. I've had chronic ankle pain with every step due to collapsed arches for over a decade now. Dr. Sawatzke is an incredibly caring and professional orthopedic surgeon who takes the time to thoroughly explain treatment options and address all concerns. His expertise and attention to detail made me feel confident and well cared for throughout the process.
The most thoughtful and thorough doctor I have ever had. Takes the time you need without making you feel rushed or dismissed. Made sure to map out his plan for surgery, even had me come in the day before to go back over everything to make sure we were on the same page. Very skilled and well. I had a very deformed foot from a previous injury and the shape of my foot looks almost normal. His PA is excellent, as well. Very personable and available for any issues or questions you may have.
Saved my father's life. Personalized quality care and efficient. We have complete trust when he's the lead of procedures and long-term concerns.
