Dr. Mason and his entire staff were tremendous diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. I was led through several options and alternate treatment before deciding on surgery. The entire staff at Boulder Neurosurgical were always helpful adn courteous. My appointments started on time (a nice surprise)and were conducted professionally and efficiently. I was fortunate to have my severely herniated cervical spine disks diagnosed before signifcant damage occurred. Dr. Mason and his team, along with the staff at Exempla Good Samaritan did a spectacular job in fusing five vertebae and getting me out of the hospital in less than 48 hours. I was able to return to half-time work at my desk job just ten days after surgery! I could not be happier with the care I received or the outcome.

Feeling great and increasing activities 2 years after 1 level fusion surgery. Their office has a warm and friendly staff. The PA in the office is very helpful with suggestions, I felt listened to, and didn't feel rushed. A big thank you to Dr Mason and his staff!
Was in ICU for two weeks with a colloid brain cyst. Dr Mason, Gene and the rest of his staff could not have been better, and they really helped me feel confident about the brain surgery. Excellent bed-side manner and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them, and I have made a full recovery.
Anterior Cervical discectomy&fusion- Like anyone I was scared. Dr Alexander Mason was 100% upfront with me on all of the risks & explained in plain words what was involved. He sent us home for 2 weeks to think about it. Seeing a wheelchair in my future did not take alot of thought.
