I recently had cataract surgery done by Dr. Voldman at Connecticut Eye Surgery Center South in Milford. My office visits were at Eye Physicians and Surgeons at the clinic offices in Milford and Branford. My experience with Dr. Voldman and his surgical and office teams at each of these locations was excellent. My outcome - the improvement to my vision - is amazing. I would normally say it was a good experience. However, I was told the procedure would be $1700 per eye. Then, after the surgery, I received 3 more bills totalling over $2000. I was not told that the anesthesia nurse and doctor and the facility all get paid separately. So therefore, instead paying $3400 which I had, I'm now responsible for another $2500. which I did not plan for. Be sure to get all the facts before you move forward. Big disappointment. Very unfortunate.
