I first met Dr. Alexander Doan in San Jose, CA on 1/20/26. He was unassuming and inquisitive. By my third office visit six weeks later, he successfully diagnosed my problem. Before meeting him, two other physicians had not. Using historical data, he saw cause and effects leading him to “connect the dots.” A new prescription greatly relieved my major symptom. Dr. Doan is a thorough, caring, and compassionate physician. He is extremely knowledgable and it reflects in the care he provides his patients. Dr. Doan is incredibly up to date with new treatments and options available for his patients ensuring they get the best care possible. His staff is incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable as well. He is the type of physician you would want your family/loved ones to have.
Dr. Doan is a pleasant, thorough doctor. He’ll take his time explaining the diagnoses and medications he prescribes, and gives space for any questions you may have. He listens to every problem and stays up to date with the latest medical research to make sure you’re getting the care that works for you. His staff also makes sure that his clinic is clean and welcoming. They have a great team and will take good care of you!
Dr. Doan and everyone in his office are so warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and phenomenal! Dr. Doan is a very thorough and empathetic physician, as he listens to his patients, orders necessary tests, and explains diagnosis/treatment well. I really like how he explores the causes of different diagnoses like Cushing’s or renal artery stenosis for his patients instead of just saying it’s “hypertension”. They also do cosmetic procedures in office too. Highly recommend Dr. Doan and his staff!
Dr. Doan is an amazing physician! He is so thorough, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and compassionate, and will go above and beyond to make sure his patients get the care that they need (i.e. calling his colleagues, reaching out to dialysis centers, reading up on new clinical studies, etc). He also speaks Vietnamese and does aesthetic procedures, if you are looking for a physician with that type of versatility. Overall, I cannot recommend him enough!
