My experience was great all of the suppoft staff that worked with Dr Abkin made ferl comfortable about my procedure and after , Dr Abkin gave me on point expectations after surgery and he stopped in multiple times post surgery, im 60 days post surgery i went in at 285and im down to 242 , thats 43 pounds and i feel great , i am no longer on insulin and the only pills i take are vitamins
Dr. Abkin was great to work with very professional and minimum scaring after. Surgery was a great success and the post care available from the office is above most others they have monthly free support groups in multiple locations that you can go to and a Facebook private group to talk to other patients when you need quick advice or support
From the beginning this process couldn't have been easier or more comforting. From the appointment process to the testing. Dr Abkin and Dr Jawed treat their patients with respect and make sure everything is understood. The office staff are friendly and make you feel like you are the most important not just a number.
From my first appt in September 2016 to my surgery in January 2017 to my one year anniversary the office staff have been nothing but professional and courteous. Dr. Abkin and Dr. Jawed went above and beyond to make this a pleasant experience with optimum results. I would recommend them to anyone seeking to have bariatric surgery.
I had a bariatric sleeve done by Dr Abkin in 2017. It was the best thing I ever did! His office staff made sure I was completely prepared for this procedure! There were no surprises, and Dr Abkin and his staff were attentive and professional before and after the surgery! I highly recommend Dr Abkin , if you are looking for an effective weight loss tool!
The only point given is for the doctor as he was very nice and took the time to explain things to me. His staff however was completely disorganized and unprofessional. I was asked to get all medical notes from previous surgeries along with insurance documents from those surgeries. That was not easy for me to get but I did it and filled out the patient paperwork. I arrive and had to wait an hour and half to be seen. The staff did not call to get my test results nor did they read documents request
Dr. Abkin is the best! He is so kind,compassionate, and knowledgeable. His entire office staff is wonderful. I highly recommend this unbelievably talented team.
